Mia is the Program Director for the Students with Dependents and the Collegiate Recovery Programs. She has worked with students in higher education for more than a decade. Prior to coming to the Bruin Resource Center, Mia spent the last 4 years as a Community College Counselor for several local community colleges. She is a UCLA alumni and former participant and intern for the Students w/Dependents program. She is excited and honored to be in a position that allows her to advocate, support, and empower students with dependents at UCLA. Mia’s hobbies are playing games, watching movies, and spending quality time with her 13 year old son, Jeremiah.
